12 DecHappy Birthday To the Man Who Can Build Anything!

On this day in 1899, Paul Adelburt Bigsby was born. He is as you can guess the inventor of the Bigsby Vibrato tailpiece, along with many other innovations like the modern Pedal Steel, and the pre-cursor to Leo Fender’s Broadcaster and Telecaster guitars. He famously bragged to Merle Travis that “I can build anything!”, and I believe he could, if he set his mind to it!

Happy Birthday P.A.!
